because 140 just isn't enough…

Under Construction:
Pardon the Dust.

The Times is disappointed that he hasn’t opened chains of restaurants, made a fool of himself on reality TV or decamped to a more expensive building in Chicago. All he’s done, it seems, is mentor an entire generation of chefs, consistently create amazing meals and also donate once-in-a-lifetime, multi-course dinners for rising high school students in Chicago (150 times a year).

In my opinion, it was a life fulfilling. I am almost sick and tired of those judging others on the life they led compared to a ‘money=success’ yardstick.

Short-Time Syndrome

Applies to prison, war or police movies, where the hero only has a few more days until he is free, his tour is over, or he can retire with full pension. Whenever such a character makes the mistake of mentioning his remaining time (“Three days and I’m outta here!”) he will die before the end of that time.

Oh so hilarious and a good read through for any movie buff.

Quote Vadis is a site I have been following for a while which brought together a great set of quotes and still ongoing. When I saw this however, I just had to smile.

On another note, this could be a very good philosophy to live by.

While hardly a professional rig, I can see using this setup to record audio on location with minimal fuss. In fact, the mic is the largest piece of equipment.

Wonderfully marvellous. Garageband is by far one of the best additions for the iPad in my opinion and is bringing with it so much potential.
