遠野くん {tò·no·kun} is the online journal of Daniel Huynh (who goes by the moniker of tohno-kun while online mostly). Here lays the collections of interesting links and expanded thoughts. For quick incoherrant ramblings, try on twitter @tohnokun.
I have a great interest in many things, perhaps too many things. This is reflected in my writing by their topics. I sometimes write about:

Whatever I do, I try to be as honest with my writing as possible, while trying to improve myself through it.
遠野くん is built on wordpress, an open source CMS with a lot of promise and great fun to work with. If you see this site looking awful and you aren’t using a shitty browser like Internet Explorer, then I must have screwed something up. Send me an email using my contact with your gripe about the site.

THE PERSON
I am a 20 year old Aeronautical Engineering student gunning for his Masters certification. Born in the UK, I however have high hopes of a life in Tokyo or New York. I study Japanese and practise traditional Goju Ryu Karatedo.

THE SETUP
I am a Mac user since 2008, and never looking back. My trusted MacBook Pro (named Nagi) is my first from that same year and is a real beauty. I am also deeply in love with my iPhone 3G (named Yui) even with how badly I abuse her. Software I use on my mac that never leave the dock ever would be:
- iTunes – Can’t live without it
- Safari – Absolutely love it
- Things – Task Management has never been so eloquent
